Time flys

            As this is my last blog entry for my English 111 class, I have noticed a change in my blog entries. When i first started blogging i was into partying and living the single life, I had lots of fun and enjoyed my weekends. Through  out all the weekends of going out and partying and drinking with my friends and meeting new people, my blogging started to change. I believe i came to a realization that partying isn't everything and getting drunk and doing stupid stuff just isn't worth it. For the short time being getting drunk and having a good time is fun, but it is honestly not worth it waking up the next day, especially if you wake up and dont know what the hell happened the night before.

            I started blogging as a single guy ready to have fun and do pretty much anything, and now im in a relationship with a girl that i find means a lot to me and i hope that things work out with her. i spent 8 hours with her on Saturday and had a lot of fun with her! also her mom made us crab legs so that made things pretty much awesome =) im looking forward to seeing what things are in store for me after this class!

Opening Day

Monday was opening day for rifle season, so Sunday night i went to bed around 9 oclock and woke up at 3 oclock this morning. Insomnia was playing a factor sense i could barely sleep through out the tonight cause of all the excitement inside of me. Before going out to hunt i ran into town to pick up my girlfriend who was coming hunting with me for the day! I picked her up at the West Branch Country Club and we were on our way back to my hunting cabin, at this point it was 5 oclock in the morning! My dad, my girlfriend- Ashley, and myself got on the fourwheeler and started out on our hunting day! Ashley and I got to the deerblind and had to wait a little over an hour and a half for day break, so we layed down for a bit and waited... It started to lighten up outside and there were 3 deer down below on our food plot and 4 deer in my food plot to the west. Throught out the morning hunt we saw 20 deer! there was 5 bucks, but none of them worth shooting. Around 11 oclock my dad shot a buck with one horn.... a two point lol... The rest of the day was just like the morning lots of deer but nothing worth shooting! I may not have got a deer but i got to spend 15 hours of time with my girlfriend on monday, it was pretty much amazing =)

Concert

Friday was probably one of the best days I have had in a very long time, my friends and I went to a concert in grand rapids. The band that were playing were 2 Cents, Children of Bodom, Clutch, and Black Label Society. 2 cents was okay, not really my kind of music. Children of Bodom was one of my favorite bands and they are awesome live! Clutch’s lead singer moved around like he was a retarded turkey or something, I don’t really know but they sucked! Black Label Society was the last but most popular of all the Bands, right when they dropped the curtain and the band started playing the crowd went wild! I got into a big mosh pit and everyone was pushing each other and laying one another out on the ground, it was seriously a great time. I decided to take it to the next level, I taped one of the guys on the shoulder and pointed up. I wanted to crowd surf! The launched me up on the air and on top of every I landed, people pushing my body towards the stage. It was unbelievable how it felt all the hands pushing your body around it was cool! Until you ran out of people and you go thrown down in front of the stage. I ran back around and went through the crowd and did it again, I have not had that much fun in a very long time!

Weekend

My weekend started on thursday when after class my friend and i went and go our cartilage pierced at the mall in bay city, then we went to the 12:00 am showing of Paranormal Activity 2... Let me tell ya that is one scary movie! i didnt really do much the whole weekend but work and hang out around the house, i wanted to take a break from all the running around and late night activities for once. But instead i ended up sick on saturday, sunday, and monday! But late saturday night i went to go hang out with this girl ive been talking to lately, and ended up sitting in a car for an hour to only see her for probably 5 minutes,  This was no fun at all if you ask me... Then On Monday night around 9 or 10 oclock the power goes out at my house, thanks to all the storms and high wind! So going into Tuesday i still had no power at my house. So before class i had to go to a friends house that had power and take a shower. Even when i got home, there was still no power. I couldn't even charge my cell phone! So up until about 3 or 4 this morning there was no power, but it finally did come on! I was with out a cell phone, and facebook for pretty much 24 hours.... I was devestated!!

MSU

This weekend i went down to Michigan state university! It all started on Friday when my friend and I left our town around 1 o'clock. The ride was roughly a couple hours, nothing too bad. We ended down there around 4 o'clock got all of our stuff into our friends dorm, who by the way lives in an all girl dormitory! So 5 o'clock rolls around and the drinking begins! It was my friend Tanner, and me, and like 10 girls in my friends room.... we were in heaven! They called a cab, and we left the room around 10 o'clock and we go to some party over in Cedar Village. By this time a have a whole 5th in me and I'm still pretty fine, then there's Tanner and Carly who are already puking up a storm, like come on you two haven't even came close to me, so they want to leave and we walk outside. Then around comes the corner my other friend that is visiting down here from the same town I'm from!  So i ditch my two friends and go with them, we went over to the McDonald's and got some good and so on. Next thing i know they wanna go back to their dorm so they send me in the direction of where Carly's dorm is, which was a half hour walk =( But as I'm walking back i am thirsty and spot this 7-11 so i go inside, and what do ya know!! There is Carly and Tanner! So i road in the cab back with them! The next Day was the MSU football game, i woke up at 9 o'clock and started drinking once again. We got to the game around 11:30 and Kickoff was at 12, we sat with Tanners family for the first quarter, then snuck our way into the student section. We weren't in there long untill we got kicked out for being too Rowdy and throwing stuff... After we got kicked out we went back to Carly's dorm we took a power nap. Then i started to get sick and threw up a bunch, and Tanner had to leave so i decided to go home with him, Then proceeded to puke 7 more times on the way home... It was a very good weekend minus the puking!

In this article a New York GOP Gubernatorial Candidate critisizes the gay lifestyle and says that its not something that kids should be tought that its okay. I totally 100% agree with him! I was raised to beleive that a relationship is to be shared with the opposite sex, not the same.. I Find it disturbing and wrong that someone could have a relationship with the same sex. It is someones own choice, but it doesnt make it the right choice! When i have kids i do not want to raise them to think they have a choice to be gay or straight, it isnt an option.. Honestly i have no problem with gays/ lesbians, they're human beings too. But that doesnt mean i have to agree with their lifestyle choice. Its not right, and a relationship should be between a man and a women. Not two men, or two women!

Changes

This weekend i went to a couple parties. On Friday i went to Hale/ Tawas for a party and it was a bunch of older people, basically my age and up, maybe a few younger kids. Everyone gets a long great, no problems no one being stupid, ignorant, stuck up nothing. It was a really good time. On Saturday it was my old highschool's homecomming. One of my friends that graduated with me last year was having a party, so my friend and i decided to go for a bit. There was a lot of high school kids there, and only about a handful of us that have graduated in the past couple years. A lot of the kids in high school act like they're so cool and are just complete bitches. One girl started a fight with the other because she just didn't like her, for pretty much no reason. Its like why cant people just grow up and learn to get along? I think its ridiculous how people think they can treat others like shit because they think they're better than them. But the truth is, not one person is better than another. We're all the same and just because you have more money than someone doesn't mean your better than them. We're all human beings, and treating someone like shit and degrading them isn't right. Moral of the story is you should consider other peoples feeling before you act out, put yourself in their situation and how do you think you would feel?

Brother Bonding

My brother Scott came home this weekend from college, he also brought along his friend Mike Przydzial. My Saturday started out by coming down to Delta to watch my friend From Tawas, who plays for Kellogg College, play soccer against Delta. He played a pretty good game but ended up loosing against them! After that my friend and I headed back up to West Branch. He dropped me off then i headed over to my Boss's House to ride horses with his wife and step daughter. It was a lot of fun, but its been soooo long sense i have road a horse, it was good to ride again. Then i went Home and that's when the fun began! We started to party, first with playing some game i didn't know what it was, Then came Ring of Fire. Basically the game you get destroyed in when you play it! Four Caribou Lou's later were starting to head down stairs to play some pong, i lost all the games i played and next thing i knew i was around the toilet puking. That happened on three separate occasions =(  Finally i made it into bed, woke up the next morning and went golfing! I played the Game of my life and shot 72 on 18 holes! It was a great accomplishment, even drove the ball over 300 yards!

Friends and get togethers

           This past weekend was pretty fun, My parents went down to Grand Valley State University to watch my brothers college football game. Soo i decided to have a little get together at my house with some close friends of mine! We started out the nights activities around 10 o'clock, one of my best friends was puking by 3:00 am. I went undefeated in pong the whole night, and there was no way that i could be stopped! Honestly i cant really remember a whole lot so im having some difficulty blogging about this, my friend Alyssa and her friend had stayed the night and left early around 8 am. When i woke up i had the worse headache of my life, and seriously just wanted to jump off a building at this point. After they left i took a couple Motrin and i was back to bed. I woke up around 12 o'clock and there wasnt a single person in my house, plus my room and basement were completly trashed! I always love how everyone leaves before its time to pick up, so you get stuck cleaning up everyone elses mess. Even my friends puke bucket he decided to just leave sitting there.... It was a fun night for sure, but deffinetly not worth it waking up the next day!

My Friday Night

My friday night had its up and downs, first starting out with Me working and having to stay an extra hour and a half past close sense two people decided to come in and eat an hour and a half before close and play world of war craft for 3 damn hours..... At this point i was pissed off beyond all recognition! Everyone had left the Upstairs, I Shut off the lights to the east dining room, shut off all the bathroom lights, all the tv's but one. Even swept and mopped all around them yet.... they still sit there, knowing the downstairs is open for a couple more hours and i just have to sit there waiting for them to leave, so finally after 3 hours of them playing quests and hunts on WOW, i finally get to leave and go pick up my friend Zep. He's been drinking sense 5 oclock, now its around 10:00 pm so me being the nice friend i am, i tell him ill be the designated driver.. We head out to a party at one of our friends cabins in st. helen, he drinks a little more then starts puking and falls over in his chair. He stands up kicks his chair, grabs a new cup and yells "PUKIN RALLY!!!!!", lol he goes over to the keg and gets some more drink. After an hour more of drinking he cant stand up on his own and i help him out to my car. On the way to drop him off we jam to some various artists. I drop him off at Peach lake, then i head out to Lake Ogemaw eat a home cooked meal, drink some capri suns, Then off to bed!! I'd say it was a succesful night!

Skidway Lake Inn

On Labor day a couple friends and myself decided we wanted to play some pool, So we Drove over to "Skidway lake" or Prescott as the people around there would call it.. We go into the Bar and theres a couple people sitting in there drinking their drink and some old guy dj'ing. A lady working there comes up and Id's us and says that sense were not 21 we can only stay for a little bit, to just play a couple game and leave. The old guy comes up to us and Says, "So you guys like rap music?". I was like yeah we like everything ya know a little bit of rock, some oldies, whatever works ya know? So Old Man goes over and starts playing Usher- "OMG".... Were the only 18 year olds in there and everyone else is Double our age no doubt, the old guy was at least 4 times our age.. After "OMG" he starts playing "Shots" by LMFAO. The Lady that id'd us is beyond pissed off at this point and shuts down his music. "Old Man" is now raging and tells us how much of a "bitch" she is and that hes gonna get her fired. He then began to tell us how he used to run half the country and was an army leader..... But yet hes Dj'ing at a bar in Skidway lake.. No doubt the coolest Old man i've ever met in my life!
